SPONSORS NEEDED

Looking for a few GREAT people. - the National show team is working hard to make the Nationals a great success and fun for everyone. We are calling for sponsors to donate money to help with the production of either the Welcome Party or Breeders Cup or you could certainly sponsor both. We are asking because we'd like to provide appetizers/snacks for both events to go along with the cash bar. If you'd like to totally sponsor either event please contact me, Nancy Amburgey, Show Chair at lopat@aol.com or you can call me at 614-264-7524. To make a smaller donation you can put a check in the mail made out to CCAA with Welcome & Breeders Cup on the subject line.  Please send to Nancy Amburgey, 322 Canal Walk #177, Indianapolis, IN 46202

BREEDERS CUP INVITATIONAL INFORMATION

The show team has changed the actual in ring procedure to allow each dog to have his/her moment in the limelight and allow each spectator maximum viewing ability.

The dogs will come in one at a time to be checked in. A once around and out, if you will. After all have been "checked in", the ring will be divided into 3 smaller rings, one judge per ring. The first three dogs will come in, one going to each of the smaller rings where they will be examined and moved by the judge in that ring. After all three judges have completed their exam, the dogs will rotate to the next ring and a new judge and be examined again. After all three dogs have been examined by all judges, they will leave the ring and the next three will come in for the same process. After all dogs have been examined, all the dogs will come in the ring for a last look by the judges. They will not be moved at this point. All score sheets will then be turned in and the dogs will be excused. The judges will be done evaluating at this point and each dog will come in to be introduced one at a time.

There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all dog owners or handlers, 1/2 hour after breed judging on Friday to go over the new procedure.
